WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?

Full Campervan Conversions are becoming increasingly popular, especially with the uncertainty around foreign holiday travel at the moment.  We could convert your Panel or Kombi van into a full Campervan so that you're ready for those weekend breaks or long touring holidays.  Here at Sunset Campers, we can price a Conversion to your own specification, or we can offer one of our many packages depending on what your budget allows.

Think about what you require from a Conversion, are you a couple, a family or a lone traveller?  Is storage more important than living space? Some people like to be able to attach a drive away awning and use this as their living space once they are set up at camp. Some people want everything organised within the van so storage is an important aspect.  How many people will you be travelling with? Would you prefer a full width bed set up so that you have a more spacious sleeping area and can transport more passengers in the rear.  There is so much to consider when planning your conversion, and here at Sunset Campers we would love to talk through that with you so that you are ready to holiday in your van.

We have also converted numerous Panel vans into Kombi or [...]

The owner of this Crafter has a motocross bike and wanted the garage walls protecting with chequer plate. This is a great idea because it’ll also make it easier to clean after a muddy bike has been in there.

We also made a cupboard for the gas bottle with a handy shelf on top for oils or a bike helmet. We also made a shelf on top of the cupboard which houses the water pump and toilet waste. This one is perfect for 1L bottles of oil or spray cans.

Lowering a van is an ideal way to not only make your campervan look less like a commercial van but it’ll also help with ride and handling as well as help with the access high.

The lowering kit used here is an Eibach 35-40mm adjustable spring kit. This kit simply replaces the original springs on the front with a shorter spring that lowers the van between 35-40mm. The rear is the same but it has [...]

This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my website. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)

…or something like this:

The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

We are very excited here at Sunset Campers today, our Van Shades demo board arrived.

We are really impressed with the design, quality and options Van Shades offer with their Window Pods. You can either match the Pods with the same colour carpet as your van or opt for the Window Pods Select which offers a clean non-carpeted look in various different colours. They also offer Splashbacks which provides a stylish wipe down wall for the kitchen area. The blind itself is a fully blackout thermal blind and comes in various different colours.

Below are some pictured from one of our conversions with all round Window Pods trimmed in graphite carpet with a slate blackout blind.

The option to have the all round glass look is matter of taste rather than practicality. For us at Sunset Campers we like the all round glass look even though you will never see out of it.

We use Camper Glass produces because we believe they’re the best on the market and offer a wide range of options for various different camper layouts.

The option we fitted here is a total blackout fake quarter glass. This will stop any light shining through and showing the colour of your van through the glass.

They also supply a rear quarter trim which goes [...]

We had a customer contact us about her awning rail that was fitted under the elevated roof by another company. She was complaining about the kador strip scratching the top of her van and the figure of eight annoyingly hitting the van at night keeping her and her children awake.

The solution was a UK designed Combi Rail by Vamoose. This is multi purpose awning rail that will enable you to attach most free standing awnings and shelters with a 6mm kador strip. It will also divert rain away from opening doors with is gutter shape design.

It is held in place with [...]
