TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Definitions
    • “We/Us/Our” refers to Sunset Campers LTD.
    • “Customer/You/Your” refers to the purchaser of the campervan conversion services.
    • “Conversion” means all work carried out to convert a van into a campervan, including but not limited to carpentry, electrics, plumbing, gas fitting, upholstery, insulation, and custom installations.
  1. Quotations & Payments
    • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
    • A non-refundable deposit of which covers the high value item is required to secure a booking.
    • The balance must be paid in full before collection/delivery of the vehicle.
    • Any changes to the scope of work may affect the final price and timeline.
  1. Cancellations & Refunds
    • If the Customer cancels after work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable and additional costs for work done to date may be charged.
    • Refunds are not offered for custom work once completed unless a fault covered under warranty is identified.
  1. Timeframes
    • We aim to complete all conversions within agreed timelines. However, delays may occur due to supply chain issues, unforeseen technical complications, or weather conditions. Please do not book any holidays until we know your van will be completed. We will keep you informed.
  1. Vehicle Condition & Liability
    • The Customer must ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, legal, and safe for modification.
    • We are not liable for mechanical or structural faults unrelated to the conversion.
    • All vehicles are stored and worked on at the Customer’s risk. We have insurance but recommend the Customer also maintain comprehensive insurance during the conversion period.
  1. Customer-Supplied Materials
    • If the Customer supplies any parts or materials, we are not responsible for their quality or performance, nor any delays resulting from faults.
  1. Intellectual Property
    • All designs, plans, and layouts remain the intellectual property of Sunset Campers LTD unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  1. Governing Law
    • These terms are governed by the laws of England UK, and disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

WARRANTY / GUARANTEE

  1. Standard Warranty

We offer a 12-month workmanship warranty on all campervan conversions from the date of collection/delivery. This covers:

    • Joinery and carpentry
    • Plumbing and water systems
    • Electrical installations
    • Gas installations
    • Fixtures and fittings
  1. What’s Not Covered
    • General wear and tear or misuse
    • Damage caused by modifications made by third parties after completion
    • Customer-supplied parts or equipment
    • Vehicle mechanical issues unrelated to our work
    • Issues caused by extreme weather, accidents, or neglect
  1. Making a Warranty Claim
    • Claims must be submitted in writing with photos and a detailed description.
    • We may require the vehicle to be returned to our workshop for assessment and repair.
    • We will not reimburse third-party repair costs unless agreed in writing in advance.
  1. Limitations
    • Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of faulty workmanship only.
    • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including accommodation, travel, or loss of use of the vehicle.
